It was a good thing, that both of them where with us, because they know Istanbul quite well and we didn't see the city through the standard-tourist's eyes. Obviously we still were tourists but we saw some corner's of the city, we wouldn't have if we would've been on our own.
Anyway: we had a great time and learned a lot, although it was pretty exhausting.
